A unique high-impact dining experience that connected students with Royal Bank of Scotland employees across all career levels in a single evening.

Engage

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) wanted to create authentic engagement between students and employees across different levels of seniority.

Attraction events often only offer students the chance to speak to one of two company representatives in a short window of time. RBS wanted to turn this on its head and offer a more meaningful, memorable way for students to understand the culture, career paths, and people behind the brand. The challenge was to design an experience that fostered deep, two-way conversations and helped prospective applicants see themselves in the business.

 

Inspire

We created the 'Moveable Feast'—a three-course dining experience across three venues, featuring RBS employees at every level. 

The experience invited 30 students, split into three groups of 10, to take part in a progressive dinner across three local restaurants. Each group began with a starter at one restaurant, then moved on for a main at another, and finally dessert at a third.

At each venue, they were joined by five RBS employees (current graduates, mid-level managers, or senior leaders) who remained in place while the students rotated. This format ensured high-quality, high-touchpoint conversations, giving students the opportunity to connect with a wide range of employees across the evening in a relaxed and authentic way.

Connect

98% of students went on to apply to RBS after attending the event.

The campaign was so successful that it ran for five consecutive years across key university locations. The intimate format and high-quality conversations led to an application conversion rate of 98%—a testament to the strength of the experience in influencing career decisions.

Students left feeling inspired, informed, and excited by what a career at the Royal Bank of Scotland could offer.

Helped RBS create a long-term campaign asset that delivered consistently high conversion rates year-on-year.

Created a relaxed but purposeful environment where meaningful engagement could thrive.
