Our objective was to upskill colleagues on the importance of data and to facilitate collaboration across teams.
Lloyds believes that data is the secret sauce for everything they do. Amidst its digital transformation, the team was passionate about giving colleagues an experience that would bring the organisation’s data culture to life.
To achieve this, we needed to create a fun experience around data literacy that would engage both data-minded and non-data-minded colleagues at Lloyds.
Therefore, the experience had to demystify the notion that data is intimidating, while helping participants learn some of the foundations of the data value chain.
Inspire
We developed an immersive, team-based escape room featuring data-related puzzles inspired by lessons drawn from Lloyds' rich heritage.
We designed the escape room to be a fully automated experience, combining physical and digital elements to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Authentic data challenges relevant to Lloyds were incorporated into the puzzle content to ensure practical and meaningful learning.
The experience requires teams to collaborate, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to real-world data scenarios in order to progress through the game and escape the vault.
